Set Prices

Your payment must be received by the Firm in advance to secure an appointment. For clients who require cash payments for discretion, you must schedule a time to make the payment prior to the appointment. All cash payments must be received at a scheduled time due to cash-handling security precautions. We only receive cash in the lobby of a Chase Bank location, for security purposes. We do not receive cash in our office itself.

If you decide that yes, you do want to proceed with a divorce after either an initial consultation, a Decision Counseling Session or a Divorce Strategy Session, then we will work on the case by the hour and we will explain this at the end of the session. If you decide that you do not want to proceed with a divorce, we may make a variety of suggestions to you on ways to save your marriage.

You do not need to start with an initial consultation to schedule either a Decision Counseling Session or a Divorce Strategy Session.

Hourly Rates

Our lawyers and paralegals run timers and record the time we spend on your case. The timers run in one-minute intervals, which represent significant savings as compared with ten or fifteen minute intervals. Our systems allow you to see your file online and review your case from the convenience of your home, as if you’re looking over our shoulder while we work. Our Paralegal rate is $200.00 to $250.00 per hour. Daniel Bohmer’s 2024 rate is $550.00 per hour. Dana Palmer’s 2024 rate is $800.00 per hour. Anna Freeman 2024 rate is $500.00 per hour. Thomas Wendt’s 2024 rate is $400.00 per hour. We work all of our cases as a team and generally assign tasks to the least cost member of the staff who is competent and efficient at achieving the tasks. We want to solve your case in the most efficient way we can.

We require a “retainer” to guarantee our payment for the work we do. A retainer is a payment in advance of us performing work on your case. We determine the amount of the advance payment based on the complexity of the case. The retainer applies towards the work that we do, and it must be replenished as work is performed on the case by the hour so that you always have funds “on retainer” with us. Any unused retainer funds remaining at the conclusion of your case (after your attorney’s fees are paid in full) are refunded back to you.
